About
NSTTA
National Student Table Tennis Association
Although table tennis is an Olympic sport, it is not as popular as many of the other sports in the U.S.. Many people regard it as a "basement sport" and some don't even recognize it as a legitimate sport. People do not realize the intensiveness, balance, speed, agility, and strength that are needed for table tennis; it is one of the most precise, strategic, and detailed sport. The goal of National Students Table Tennis Association is to popularize table tennis in the United States by promoting the sport through high, middle, and elementary schools while hoping to spread this sport to all ages. It is essential for the students to realize the truth about such an exciting sport and get them highly engaged in order to develop high level of play in the United States. NSTTA hopes to promote table tennis among students by organizing professional tournaments, possibly even leagues in the future, and other fun events in order to raise awareness and popularity for this sport. We, as a non-profit organization will also try our best to raise money through fundraisers to help USA table tennis develop.

The Story of Jack Wang and His African Fan
Jack Wang is an excellent table tennis player who has not only achieved many youth table tennis championship titles, but has also played for the World Table Tennis Championships representing USA.
Compared with his dazzling achievements and interactions with world champions, what impressed Jack more and even touched his heart was a message from Facebook.
The message was sent by a boy from Africa, who is a fan of Jack and loves to play table tennis. However, since the playing conditions in his country were poor, the boy and many young people like him could not afford table tennis equipment. Therefore, the boy tried to contact Jack just to inquire if he can ask for some used equipment.
The interaction with the table tennis fan from Africa lead Jack to a clear motivation: He hopes children in Africa can have access to proper equipment in order to experience the great sport of table tennis. To achieve this goal, Jack is planning to set up a project to reach out to such people like the boy and send
them plenty of used equipment.
We need more table tennis fans and volunteers to join our activity. If you have used equipment can be shared, please go to the "contact us" tab.
We really appreciate your assistance and kind collaboration. Let’s transfer our love together through the great sport and help more young people all over the world to get access to basic table tennis training. Our activity will make the table tennis sport more influential and bring turning points to people around us!
"Aside from our primary goal to promote U.S.A Table Tennis, our secondary goal is to help those who wish to engage in the wonderful sport but lack the resources to do so."
